In this 3 hours special class you will be introduced to the basic hand building techniques as well as to the different ways in which you can add unique features to this special piece: bellies, boobs, butts and any other detail that you think is important to express it. You will be able to manifest your creativity, choosing whether to make a mug, a bowl or a little vase, and turn this piece truly exclusive through adding your chosen body features. This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced, since we will explain the basics to those who need, but those who already have some knowledge are also welcome to deepen their abilities and learn this new technique.
After the class, we will take care of glazing your pieces and you can pick them up when they are fresh out of the kiln. (approx. 3-4 weeks). We will use the brown-grayish clay and glaze it transparent for you, as seen in the pictures.
This class will be taught by Juliane Wallau (@nuaceramica), a talented Brazilian ceramicist who´s very passionate about mixing bodies and clay since 2018.
Material and firing costs are included in the fee.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- All classes take place at our studio in the souterrain, Schleiermacherstrasse 18, 10961 Berlin.
- Please ensure that you can attend all class dates and arrive on time. You may request a refund by canceling your booking at least 14 days in advance of the first class date via email at studio@ploettjes.com. After this period, we reserve the right to retain the full payment.
- In case the class does not reach the minimum number of 4 participants, the class will be canceled and the class fee refunded in full to the participants. If you want you can simply book a new spot for another class.
- Please note: By booking this class you assure that you have a private liability insurance.
- The class booking is binding once payment has been received in full on Plöttjes Studio´s account. By booking you agree to our terms and conditions.
- If a class (date) cannot take place due to the instructor´s inability to attend, the class date will be rescheduled or taught by another instructor without additional class fee. If no alternatives can be offered, the class fee will be refunded in proportion to the number of class units that have been cancelled.
- We will notify you by mail when your pieces are ready for pickup. Please make sure to collect them promptly. Unfortunately, if unclaimed after three months, we´ll need to dispose of them as we have limited space in the studio.
- Gift vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issue and are redeemable for one person . Please note that vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash or products.
